I love living in Beijing.
I love the bustling city, the many people, the wide streets, the lights at night, the ever-changing neighborhoods.
But in recent days I’m having strange cravings.
I want a dog.
Now this is unusual, as I have never really liked dogs that much , or wanted to own one.
Now I do.
There are two breeds that fascinate me, oddly they are Golden retriever, and a French bulldog.
They seem respectively optimistic and reassuring, smart and cute.
Being a firm believer in the string theory, I know that in some alternate reality I have just acquired a dog. Or two.
While living in a house like this, probably.
Ah, the strange cravings people get once autumn comes.
